How to Get to Sorsogon City
Sorsogon City is most often reached by air into Sorsogon or Legazpi and then by road; buses and vans are the common intercity option across the Bicol region. Driving or booking a private transfer provides the most convenience for luggage and schedules.
Sorsogon Airport (Sorsogon - Gubat area): Sorsogon now has a regional airport (Sorsogon Airport) serving flights from Manila and other Philippine cities on a limited schedule; check airlines for current services and times. From the airport a short taxi or tricycle ride brings you into Sorsogon City.
Legazpi Airport (LGP): If Sorsogon flights are unavailable, Legazpi (Bicol) Airport is the nearest larger commercial airport. From Legazpi to Sorsogon City it’s a road trip of roughly 1-1.5 hours by bus or private transfer; bus fares are typically around PHP 100-300 depending on service.
Train: There is no direct national rail service to Sorsogon City; the Philippine rail network does not extend to the Bicol Peninsula.
