How to Get to Tabaco
Tabaco City is served by Legazpi's airport (LGP) for regional air connections; the final leg from Legazpi to Tabaco is by road. Local jeepneys, tricycles and buses are the everyday ways to get around once you arrive.
Bicol International / Legazpi Airport (LGP): Legazpi is the closest airport serving Tabaco and the Albay area. From Legazpi airport the easiest onward options are taxi or shared van to Tabaco; the drive typically takes around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and route.
Naga Airport (WNP): Naga is another regional airport with services to the Bicol region; travel to Tabaco from Naga is longer (overland) and usually done by bus or private vehicle.
Bus / Jeepney / Van: Tabaco is served by local jeepneys and vans from Legazpi city and the Legazpi bus terminal. Travel time from Legazpi is typically 30-45 minutes; local jeepney fares are low (a few tens of PHP) while vans/buses are slightly higher.
Train: There is no passenger rail service that reaches Tabaco; overland bus and jeepney services are the normal public transport for the city and surrounding communities.
