July continues with cold mornings and dry, sunlit days-this is peak season for those wanting to avoid the rain and seek solitude in southern landscapes. Keetmanshoop’s quiver tree fields are popular and the Karas scenery is excellent for photographers with clear skies. Bookings for the main canyon routes can be limited on holiday weekends, so reserve ahead if traveling then.
