November brings a definite chill compared with the interior’s still-dry autumn; the Caspian can be grey and blustery and small harbors show the season’s end. Local life contracts indoors, but low-season rates and emptier promenades reward patient travelers. Waterproof outerwear and a warm hat are sensible choices for coastal winds and drizzle.

November cools quickly and the first light snows may dust upper ridges; daytime clarity is high and the low-angle sun makes city architecture striking. Short hikes are still possible but expect muddy tracks and colder nights. Bring warm clothing and a waterproof shell for sudden showers or snowy squalls at higher elevations.
