Türkmenbaşy & Awaza
November brings a definite chill compared with the interior’s still-dry autumn; the Caspian can be grey and blustery and small harbors show the season’s end. Local life contracts indoors, but low-season rates and emptier promenades reward patient travelers. Waterproof outerwear and a warm hat are sensible choices for coastal winds and drizzle.

December is quiet and cool, with short daylight hours and crisp air over irrigated fields. Snow is rare but cold nights are common-daytime exploration is still viable on bright, sunny days. Pack warm clothing for evenings and expect fewer visitors at major sites, giving a more solitary feel to the ruins.
