Caspian Coast (Türkmenbaşy & Awaza)

April warms rapidly, turning the foothills into a good window for walking and exploring Ashgabat’s outskirts; wildflowers appear and irrigation channels run. Higher ridgelines can still be chilly in the morning, but afternoons are comfortably warm for site seeing. Local traffic increases as families travel for spring holidays; sunscreen and a windproof layer are sensible.
