Showers still arrive from Atlantic systems, keeping the olive groves damp and paths greasy; rural roads can be churned after storms. Wildflowers are only just starting to speckle the hillsides, and crowds are minimal - great for photography but pack layers and waterproofs.

Central Highlands (Amman, Madaba, Salt)

February mornings still bite with chill, though sunny spells lengthen and the city shows early spring energy in sheltered courtyards. Rainfall remains a regular feature, so sightseeing around the old town or a day trip to Madaba’s mosaics will require an umbrella and sticky-soled shoes for wet Byzantine stones.
