Ao Luek Tai in Krabi province is easiest reached via Krabi Airport (KBV) and onwards by shared van, minivan or taxi. There is no direct rail access; regional buses and minivans cover the last leg from Krabi town.
Krabi International Airport (KBV): Krabi is the closest airport serving Ao Luek Tai. From KBV you can take a shared van or taxi; travel time is typically 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic and exact destination in Ao Luek district. Shared vans cost around 150-300 THB, while taxis are more expensive.
Phuket International Airport (HKT) / Surat Thani (URT): These airports are farther away and only used if you find cheaper flights; expect significantly longer transfers (several hours) by road or a combination of ferry and road if arriving via Phuket.
