The collection blends traditional and contemporary work by more than fifty artists from the Ubud area, ranging from classic Balinese forms to more risqué modern pieces. At its heart is the work of Ketut Rudi himself, a popular Balinese painter known for a distinctive style of realism that lends his scenes a wry, comical edge.
Though not as well known as some of Ubud’s bigger names, the gallery offers a genuine taste of local art and is well worth seeking out.
