The Neka Art Museum is a private art museum in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, founded in 1982 by collector Pande Wayan Suteja Neka. It is one of the island’s better-known museums for Balinese and Indonesian visual arts.
The museum presents a wide-ranging collection of traditional Balinese paintings, examples of regional styles such as Batuan and Ubud, and modern Indonesian works, displayed across several gallery buildings and garden settings. Exhibits cover works from the late 19th century through contemporary artists, arranged to show stylistic development.
Pande Wayan Suteja Neka assembled the collection over decades and opened the museum to provide public access to Balinese art and to support local artists. Since its opening the museum has expanded its gallery spaces and visitor facilities to accommodate exhibitions and educational programs.
The museum sits in central Ubud, in Gianyar Regency on the island of Bali, roughly 30-40 km north of Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar). The site is reached by road from Ubud town center.
