Chaguanas is easily reached from Piarco International Airport by road; shared maxi‑taxis and public buses are the affordable local choices, while private taxis provide faster door‑to‑door transfers. There is no rail service on the islands.

By Air

Piarco International Airport (POS): Piarco is the island’s main international airport, located east of Port of Spain. From Piarco you can reach Chaguanas by taxi (about 25-40 minutes depending on traffic) or by shared maxi‑taxi/minibus. A metered taxi from Piarco to Chaguanas typically costs more than public options; shared maxi‑taxis are cheaper and frequent.

A.N.R. Robinson International Airport (TAB): If you arrive on Tobago you will need to take a domestic flight to Piarco or a ferry to Port of Spain and then road transport to Chaguanas; domestic connections add significant travel time.

By Train & Bus
