Ban Pa Klang is a small mountain village set at altitude in the north of Nan Province, a couple of hours northeast of Nan town. Home to Hmong, Yao and Htin communities who settled here in the 1960s, it is best known as a place to meet villagers, stay overnight in a homestay and learn about their way of life and crafts.

The villagers are welcoming and still keep many of their old customs, earning a living by farming lychees and producing traditional handicrafts, above all fine silverwork. One of the village””’“‘s most memorable sights is the view from a hilltop lychee farm looking out over the mountains.
