How to Get to Tahannaout
Tahannaout is a village south of Marrakech and is reached by road from Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) or Marrakech city. There are no direct trains; rely on buses, grand taxis and private transfers from Marrakech.
Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK): Marrakech Menara is the main airport for the Marrakesh region. From RAK to Tahannaout you can take an airport taxi (official taxis from the airport) or an airport shuttle to central Marrakech and then a grand taxi or local bus to Tahannaout. The taxi from the airport to central Marrakech typically takes 10-20 minutes and costs roughly 70-150 MAD depending on day/night and fixed-rate arrangements; Tahannaout lies south of Marrakech and the additional leg from central Marrakech to Tahannaout is about 20-40 minutes by road.
Agadir / Other airports: Other Moroccan airports are much further away and not practical for reaching Tahannaout; overland transfers from Marrakech are the common approach.
