Dar Si Said Museum is a museum of Moroccan arts and traditional crafts in Marrakesh, established in a historic palace built in the late 19th century by a member of the Si Said family.

Exhibits focus on Moroccan decorative arts including woodwork, carpets, jewelry and ceramics displayed in former residential rooms with original carved ceilings and tilework. The palace layout includes a central courtyard and upper galleries that present the collection in a domestic, architectural setting.

Constructed in the late 1800s by a member of the Si Said family as a private palace, the building was later converted to museum use to display regional arts and crafts. The museum emphasizes both the objects and the palace interiors as examples of Moroccan craftsmanship.

Situated in the historic medina of Marrakesh in the Marrakesh-Safi region, the museum lies within walking distance of the Bahia Palace and the central souk area.

Dar Si Saïd sits in the heart of the Marrakech medina. From Jemaa el-Fna, walk north along Rue Mouassine or through the small alleys toward Riad Zitoun el Jdid - it’s about a 7-10 minute walk. Taxis and horse-carriages (calèches) can drop visitors to the northern edges of the medina; once inside, pedestrian navigation is easiest.

• Enter through the Riad Zitoun el Jdid side to avoid the busiest flows coming from Jemaa el-Fna.
