Mahé - Victoria, Beau Vallon and West Coast

By March the air still feels tropical and heavy, and thunderstorms become more frequent as the northwest monsoon peaks; daily highs are commonly near 30°C. The island’s western beaches can see choppier water on windy afternoons, while markets in Victoria are steamy but vibrant - a good time to taste fresh fish and creole dishes under covered stalls.
