How to Get to Patar Beach #

Patar Beach (Patar/Saud Beach, Bolinao, Pangasinan) is reached by road from Manila: drive roughly 4-5 hours (about 250-270 km) via North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the MacArthur Highway (AH26) toward Pangasinan, then follow provincial roads to Bolinao. Regular provincial buses run from Manila to Alaminos or Dagupan; from those towns catch a local bus or jeepney to Bolinao town.

From Bolinao town you can take a short tricycle or motorbike ride to Patar Beach (the ride is typically around 10-15 minutes). There is a small walk from the beach drop-off to the sand and viewing points.
