How to Get to Nebbi#
Nebbi is a road-access town best reached from Arua or Kampala by bus or shared taxi; domestic flights to Arua followed by a road transfer are the fastest option. Local boda-bodas and taxis serve most short journeys within the area.
Entebbe / Arua (RUA): Nebbi in Northern Uganda has no commercial airport; the nearest larger airports are Entebbe (EBB) or Arua (RUA) for regional access. From Entebbe/Kampala the road trip to Nebbi takes many hours; from Arua the drive is shorter (a few hours) and is commonly used for regional arrivals.
Regional flights: Domestic flights to Arua reduce overland travel time-arrange onward road transport to Nebbi from Arua airport or major bus terminals.
Bus / Matatu: Nebbi is served primarily by road transport: scheduled buses and minibuses operate from Arua, Gulu and Kampala corridors. Journey times depend on origin-expect multiple hours from major cities.
