How to Get to Limbaži#

Limbaži is a small Latvian town easily reached from Riga by suburban train or regional bus. Riga Airport is the main international entry point; the rail/bus ride to Limbaži is short and inexpensive.

By Air

Riga International Airport (RIX): The primary gateway for Limbaži. From RIX take public bus/shuttle into Riga city (about 25-30 minutes, low single‑fare), then connect to Limbaži by suburban train or regional bus.

Tallinn Airport (TLL): An alternative for some itineraries, though it requires a longer overland transfer (bus/train) to reach Limbaži and is generally less convenient than using Riga.

By Train & Bus

Train: Limbaži is served by the Riga suburban/regional rail network (Pasažieru vilciens) on the Zemitāni-Skulte-Limbaži corridor - journey times from Riga (Zemitāni/Riga stations) are roughly around 1-1.5 hours depending on the origin station and service. Tickets are inexpensive and sold at stations or on the train.
