How to Get to Kruševo#

Kruševo is a mountain town best reached by road from Ohrid or Skopje; the town is well connected by regional bus services from nearby cities. Expect winding mountain roads and allow extra time in winter.

By Air

Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport (OHD): Ohrid is the closest commercial airport on the western side of North Macedonia; from Ohrid the drive to Kruševo is roughly 1-1½ hours depending on route and traffic.

Skopje International Airport (SKP): Skopje is the larger international airport and a common arrival point for Kruševo. Driving time from Skopje to Kruševo is about 2-2½ hours by car; taxis and private transfers are available.

By Train & Bus

Train: There is no direct passenger rail to Kruševo; the nearest rail connections are at larger towns such as Bitola/Prilep which require onward road transfer.

Bus: Regular intercity buses connect Kruševo with Ohrid, Bitola and Skopje. Bus journey times are approximately: Ohrid-Kruševo ~1-1½ hours, Bitola-Kruševo ~45-60 minutes, Skopje-Kruševo ~2-3 hours depending on route. Buses are the main public transport option for visitors.
