Hiking and scenic viewpoints are the island’s main attractions - a single narrow road and several short tunnels connect the villages and lead to the cliff-top trail that reaches Kallur Lighthouse. The coastline features seabird colonies and dramatic sea cliffs popular with photographers and hikers.

How to Get to Kalsoy #
Ferry service runs from Klaksvík (main island of Streymoy) to Syðradalur on Kalsoy - timetables are seasonal and weather-dependent. From Syðradalur the road and marked trails lead north to the Kallur Lighthouse (approximately 45-75 minutes’ walk depending on the route and conditions).
