Hettlingen is best reached via Zurich Airport with a quick train transfer in Winterthur. The Swiss rail and regional S-Bahn connections are punctual and make door-to-door journeys straightforward.

Bus: Local buses and community services link Hettlingen with nearby villages and Winterthur; frequencies are good on weekdays and fares are integrated into the ZVV/ZVV+regional tariff system. Single-zone short trips can be bought for a few CHF at machines or via the SBB/ZVV apps.
