How to Get to Bullet Tree Falls
Bullet Tree Falls is reached overland from Belize City (BZE) via regular buses/minibuses to San Ignacio, followed by a short taxi or local-bus hop. Public buses on the Western Highway are the standard low‑cost option; private shuttles are faster and more comfortable.
Belize City (Philip S. W. Goldson International, BZE): Most international flights arrive at BZE. From the airport take a shuttle or taxi to Belize City bus terminal (about 20-30 minutes, shuttle/taxi ~BZ$20-40). From Belize City there are regular bus/minibus services along the Western Highway to San Ignacio (about 2-2.5 hours, commonly BZD 6-12); from San Ignacio a short taxi or local bus takes you to Bullet Tree Falls (10-20 minutes, small fare).
