How to Get to Placencia#
Placencia is a beach village on a slender peninsula in southern Belize. You can reach it by short domestic flight into Placencia (PLJ) from Belize City or by road buses/shuttles down the Southern Highway from Belize City and Dangriga.

How to Get Around Placencia#
For speed, fly BZE→PLJ with Tropic or Maya. For budget travel, buses/shuttles along the Southern Highway are reliable and inexpensive. Once on the peninsula, walking, short taxi trips and boats cover most local travel.
