Arroyo on Puerto Rico's southeast coast is most easily reached by road from San Juan (SJU) or the nearby city of Ponce. Public buses exist but rental cars and taxis are usually faster and more convenient for getting around.

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU): San Juan is the main arrival airport for Arroyo and the wider southeast Puerto Rico region. From SJU, driving to Arroyo takes roughly 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic; taxis and rental cars are common options.
