Mercedita Airport, Ponce (PSE): The closest commercial airport with scheduled flights for southern Puerto Rico. From Mercedita to Guayama it’s a highway drive of roughly 30-50 minutes by taxi or rental car; taxis cost more but are straightforward.

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, San Juan (SJU): San Juan is the main international gateway. The drive from SJU to Guayama is around 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic; many visitors arriving internationally prefer to rent a car or take intercity transport from San Juan to the south coast.
