- Car / Rental (€40-€90/day (rental)) - Renting a car (available mainly on larger islands) allows you to cross by vehicle ferry and explore Suðuroy at your own pace; roads on Suðuroy are manageable but can be narrow and exposed to weather. Book vehicle ferry slots in advance during busy periods.
- Bicycle - Cycling on Suðuroy is possible in fair weather for local trips, but island distances and wind make this challenging; e-bikes help. Roads are scenic but can be exposed to strong winds.
