Lítla Dímun is a small, uninhabited islet in the Faroe Islands group, located near the island of Suðuroy. The islet is characterised by steep cliffs and a compact, rocky profile and has no permanent settlements.
The islet is primarily of interest for natural history and seabird nesting; there are no tourist facilities and landings are possible only under favourable sea conditions. Historically it was used occasionally for grazing and has a distinctive place in local folklore.
Geographically Lítla Dímun sits close to Suðuroy in the southern Faroes and is separated from nearby islets by narrow channels; it is administered as part of the Suðuroy municipality.
