By Air

Don Mueang (DMK) / Suvarnabhumi (BKK) + onward to Kanchanaburi: Tha Muang (Kanchanaburi province) has no commercial airport; travelers usually fly to Bangkok (DMK or BKK) then continue by road. From Bangkok the drive to Tha Muang is about 2-3 hours by car or shuttle depending on traffic.
