By Air

Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK): The main international gateway for central Thailand. To reach Phanom Thuan (Kanchanaburi province) you typically transfer by road from Bangkok via private transfer, taxi or bus; driving time from BKK to Phanom Thuan is roughly 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Airport bus and rail links connect into Bangkok city where onward buses depart.

Don Mueang Airport (DMK): Don Mueang handles many domestic flights. From DMK travel to Kanchanaburi by road (2-3 hours) and then local buses or songthaews to Phanom Thuan; domestic flights to Kanchanaburi are not common.

By Train & Bus
