How to Get to Tetritsqaro#
Tetritsqaro is most conveniently reached overland from Tbilisi by marshrutka, bus or taxi. There is no major direct rail service, so road transport is the practical option.
Tbilisi International Airport (TBS): The main international airport for Tetritsqaro (roughly 40-70 km depending on route). From Tbilisi you can reach Tetritsqaro by marshrutka (minibus), bus or taxi; drive time is typically about 1-1.5 hours.
Kutaisi (KUT): Kutaisi is an alternative low-cost-airport entry but is further away and requires a longer overland transfer to Tetritsqaro.
Train: Tetritsqaro is not a major rail hub; Georgia’s rail network focuses on other corridors.
Bus / Marshrutka: Marshrutkas depart Tbilisi (Didube or Ortachala terminals) and head south toward Tetritsqaro and surrounding Kvemo Kartli towns. Travel time is roughly 1-1.5 hours and fares are inexpensive (typically a few Georgian lari).
