How to Get to Tsalka#
Tsalka is a small town in Kvemo Kartli best reached by road from Tbilisi. Marshrutkas and regional buses from Tbilisi’s intercity stations are the usual public‑transport option; trains are not the preferred final leg.
Tbilisi International Airport (TBS): Tbilisi is the main international gateway for Tsalka and is about 80-120 km away by road. From Tbilisi you can catch marshrutkas or regional buses toward Tsalka (departures from Didube or other intercity bus stations) - journey times are typically around 1.5-3 hours depending on stops and route.
Kutaisi (KUT): Kutaisi is another option with fewer onward connections; travel times by road to Tsalka are longer and involve transfers through regional junctions.
Train: Georgian Railways serves larger regional centres but getting to Tsalka by rail requires connections and is generally slower than road; the nearest practical rail hubs are Tbilisi and Marneuli.
