How to Get to Skoura
Skoura is an oasis village best reached by road from regional airports or major Moroccan cities. The closest airport is Ouarzazate (OZZ); most international arrivals use Marrakech (RAK) and continue by bus, transfer, or rental car to Skoura.
Ouarzazate Airport (OZZ): Ouarzazate is the nearest airport to Skoura; by car or taxi it’s roughly a 40-55 minute drive (about 30-45 km). Taxis/private transfers typically cost around 200-350 MAD and local car rental is commonly used if you plan to explore the oasis and surrounding ksars.
Marrakech Menara (RAK): Marrakech is the main international gateway for southern Morocco. The drive from Marrakech to Skoura is long (roughly 4-5 hours, ~360 km). Many visitors take an intercity CTM or Supratours bus from Marrakech to Ouarzazate (fares commonly 80-150 MAD, 4-6 hours) and then a short taxi to Skoura (30-45 minutes, see above).
