How to Get to Pirovac#
Pirovac on the Dalmatian coast is most easily reached by flying into Split or Zadar and then taking an intercity bus. There is no direct train service; buses are frequent in summer and less frequent in shoulder season.
Split Airport (SPU): Split is the closest major airport to Pirovac and offers many regional and European connections. From Split Airport take the airport shuttle or bus to Split’s main bus station (about 30 minutes) then an intercity bus to Pirovac (around 1-1.5 hours by road).
Zadar Airport (ZAD): Zadar is another option north of Pirovac with fewer but regular services. From Zadar Airport transfer to Zadar bus station and take a regional bus toward Šibenik/Benkovac with a direct or connecting service to Pirovac; travel time is roughly 1-1.75 hours.
Train: There is no direct railway service to Pirovac; the nearest mainline stations are in Šibenik or Biograd, but most travelers use buses for coastal access.
Bus: Intercity and local buses run from Split, Šibenik and Zadar to Pirovac from the main bus stations. Buses are the most common public option - expect journey times of about 1-1.5 hours from Split and similar from Zadar; ticket prices are low to moderate and vary by operator.
