How to Get to Tribunj#
Tribunj is a small coastal town near Šibenik best reached by road from Split or Zadar airports or by intercity bus to Šibenik followed by a short local transfer. Buses are the most practical public transport option.
Split Airport (SPU): Split is the closest major airport for Tribunj and Šibenik-area towns. By road Split-Tribunj is about 50-70 km and takes roughly 50-70 minutes by car depending on traffic; private transfers and rental cars are common. Transfer prices typically range €50-100 one way for private vehicles.
Zadar Airport (ZAD): Zadar is an alternative airport north of Tribunj; road transfer times to Tribunj are around 1-1.5 hours depending on route and traffic.
Train: There is no direct rail service to Tribunj; the nearest railheads are Šibenik and Zadar for wider connections. Trains in Dalmatia are limited compared with buses.
Bus: Intercity buses regularly connect Split, Šibenik and local coastal towns. From Šibenik bus station you can catch local buses or short taxis to Tribunj (about 15-25 minutes). Bus fares along the coast are inexpensive (typically a few euros).
