Heading northwest up the coast from the busy areas of Kuta and Seminyak, visitors begin to see a little more of Bali unfold, with sheer stretches of lush green countryside so far unspoiled by development. It is easy to see why so many private villas here are owned by foreigners as holiday homes and investments.
The beach itself is fairly quiet, drawing visitors chiefly to soak up the waves and the surf. From a surfer’s point of view the breaks are ideal, and the beach holds real appeal for anyone seeking a calmer atmosphere than the main Bali beaches offer. Along the whole of Pererenan Beach there is only one hotel and one small warung serving both western and local tastes. This is a place for chilling out, surfing and appreciating the surroundings before development arrives.

Pererenan Beach: Getting There & Need to Know
Pererenan Beach is remote, and public transport does not run directly here from Kuta. The simplest option is to hire a taxi for the roughly 25-minute journey; if you are not staying at the solitary hotel, ask the driver to wait or return at an arranged time.
