Echo Beach is a dark-sand surf beach on the western edge of Canggu, known for its reef break and its cluster of sunset bars and restaurants.
About Echo Beach#
Echo Beach (Pantai Batu Mejan) marks the surfier, more laid-back western flank of Canggu. Its consistent reef and beach breaks pull in intermediate and advanced surfers, while the volcanic black sand and open horizon make it a favourite spot to watch the sunset. A strip of warungs, beach bars and restaurants lines the shore, so many visitors come simply to eat, drink and settle in for the evening.
