There are plenty of places to stay in this region of the Philippines. Many people choose to use Bacolod as it is particularly well connected to many other top attractions, with regular buses and jeepneys traveling to places such as San Carlos, Sipalay and Silay.

Getting There & Away

Negros Oriental has two large airports, one at Bacolod and one at Dumaguete. Most have regular flights from Manila (1 hour) and there are buses from all over the province from places such as Sagay (2 hours).

Cayaso Cave and Underground River

Follow a winding path 20 feet down into the cayaso cave to discover an underground river and glistening stalagmites and stalactites.

Mount Talinis

Known as ‘the horns of negros’, climbing to the top of this mountain provides spectacular panoramic views of the area.
