From Albrook you can catch intercity buses from Albrook Bus Terminal to towns in Panamá Oeste; the bus journey to San Carlos typically takes about 1.5-2 hours and fares are low (around USD 2-6). Taxis or private transfers from Albrook are faster (about 60-90 minutes) and cost more (roughly USD 40-70).

Fares are very affordable (typically USD 2-6). Private shuttles and colectivos also run the route; prices vary but are commonly USD 6-20 depending on comfort and whether you arrange a return shuttle.

Shopping in San Carlos #
