Park Archaeological park with Khmer temple ruins
Ruined Khmer temple complex in Kanchanaburi province set among low hills and forest; tourists visit for 11th-12th century stone temples, river scenery and short treks.
Mueang Sing Historical Park is a compact Khmer archaeological site in Kanchanaburi province, Thailand, preserving remnants of an Angkor-period frontier complex. The ruins include a central sanctuary and the remains of laterite and sandstone structures dating broadly to the 12th and 13th centuries.
On-site features include the main sanctuary, fragments of stone carving and laterite enclosures that mark the original temple precinct. Paths around the site allow short walks between the principal ruins and an interpretation area that describes the site’s Khmer origins.
The site was established as a historical park to protect the temple remains and to present the local role of the Khmer polity. Over time it has been stabilised and made accessible with basic visitor facilities and explanatory signage.
The complex is located in Kanchanaburi province in western Thailand, within the region of historic frontier sites between the interior and coastal zones.
- Date range: Structures date to the Angkorian period, broadly placed in the 12th to 13th centuries, when the Khmer state controlled parts of the region.
- Function: The complex was a regional frontier outpost of the Khmer polity and is smaller and more compact than the major Angkor temples farther east.

- Visitor information area: An on-site park area with information panels and a small museum display that presents finds and explains the site's Khmer-period origins.
