Las Piedras (municipal seat) is easiest reached by road from San Juan. There is no passenger rail; car rental, taxi or shuttle from SJU are the usual choices - local transit outside San Juan is limited.

By Air

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU): San Juan’s main airport is the primary air gateway for Las Piedras. From SJU you can rent a car or take a taxi east to Las Piedras (approximately 45-70 minutes depending on traffic). Taxi transfers commonly cost around USD 60-100; car rental provides more flexibility for exploring east‑coast municipalities.

Antonio (Ceiba) / Regional airfields: Commercial service at Ceiba is limited; most visitors use SJU and continue by road to Las Piedras. Travel times from regional airfields vary and usually require a car or taxi for the final leg.
