Lakatamia is a suburb of Nicosia best reached via Larnaca Airport (LCA) followed by an intercity bus or taxi to Nicosia and a short onward bus or taxi to Lakatamia. There is no rail network in Cyprus, so buses and cars are the main public transport options.

By Air

Larnaca International Airport (LCA): LCA is the closest international airport for Nicosia/Lakatamia. From LCA you can take an intercity bus to Nicosia (route takes ~35-50 minutes) and then a local bus or taxi to Lakatamia - bus fares are typically a few euros. Taxis from Larnaca airport to Nicosia/Lakatamia take ~30-45 minutes and cost roughly €30-45 depending on traffic and time of day.

Paphos International Airport (PFO): PFO is further away (roughly 1.5-2 hours’ drive) and is an alternative only if you plan stops in western Cyprus.

By Train & Bus

Train: Cyprus does not have a passenger rail network.

Bus: Intercity buses connect Larnaca to Nicosia; from Nicosia central bus station you can take local buses to Lakatamia or a short taxi. Local fares within Nicosia are modest (a couple of euros) and schedules are generally frequent during the day.
