St. George’s & West Coast (Grand Anse, Point Salines)

June marks the official start of the hurricane season-expect more unsettled weather with heavy tropical downpours interspersed with long sunny spells. The west coast is sheltered from the Atlantic swell, so beaches remain usable, but keep a close eye on advisories from local authorities. If you plan diving, ask operators about visibility on the day and carry travel insurance for possible weather disruptions.

Northern & Atlantic Coast (Levera, Sauteurs, Levera National Park)

June brings heavier, more consistent rainfall on the Atlantic side and the dunes and mangroves at Levera will feel dense and humid after storms. Strong easterly winds can produce significant surf and beach erosion in exposed spots, so swimming is best avoided unless told otherwise by locals. Short hikes are doable in the morning but expect showers later and bring insect repellent for damp trails.
