How to Get to Frenaros

Frenaros in Famagusta District is best reached via Larnaca Airport with a short taxi or rental-car transfer. Cyprus lacks trains, so buses, taxis and hired vehicles are the standard ways to travel between towns.

By Air

Larnaca Airport (LCA): Larnaca is one of the main international airports serving Cyprus and is the closest major airport for Frenaros (Famagusta District). From Larnaca to Frenaros is a drive of roughly 25-35 minutes (about 20-25 km); taxis and car rentals are the most practical onward options.

Paphos Airport (PFO): Paphos is on the other side of the island and is less convenient for Frenaros; use Larnaca for shorter transfers to eastern Cyprus locations such as Frenaros and Paralimni.

By Train & Bus

Train: Cyprus has no national rail network.

Bus: Intercity buses operated by OSY and private carriers connect Larnaca and the Famagusta district towns; bus services run from Larnaca town and the airport area to destinations in the east.
