How to Get to Avgorou

Avgorou in Famagusta District is best reached from Larnaca Airport by taxi or a combination of intercity bus and a short taxi ride. As with much of Cyprus, bus routes and schedules vary by season and there is no rail service.

By Air

Larnaca International Airport (LCA): Avgorou is most conveniently served from Larnaca Airport, around 25-35 km away depending on the route. From Larnaca you can take a taxi (≈30-40 minutes) or catch intercity/local buses that pass near Avgorou; taxi fares are commonly €25-€40 for the trip.

Larnaca / LCA is the main gateway: Paphos is further away and less convenient for Avgorou; Larnaca provides the best public-transport and road connections for this part of the island.

By Train & Bus

Train: Cyprus does not have a train network.
