El Rancho in Cortés is reached most easily via San Pedro Sula (SAP), the regional air and road hub. Expect onward travel by bus, colectivo or taxi from the city to reach smaller towns and villages.

By Air

Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport, San Pedro Sula (SAP): San Pedro Sula is the closest major airport for northern Cortés Department. From SAP take a taxi or shuttle into the city (20-30 minutes, ~US$15-US$25) then continue by bus or local taxi to smaller towns.

Toncontín International Airport, Tegucigalpa (TGU): Tegucigalpa is an option for some inland routes; from the city center you will need to take intercity bus services northward - expect several hours of road travel to reach coastal or departmental towns.

By Train & Bus

Train: Honduras does not offer intercity passenger train services; trains are not a travel option.
