Choloma is served most practically via San Pedro Sula's Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport (SAP); the city is a short drive east of San Pedro Sula. Overland travel from other Honduran cities uses intercity buses and local colectivos.

By Air

Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport (SAP): The nearest international airport is in San Pedro Sula (Policía Internacional/La Lima area), about 20-30 minutes from Choloma by road. Taxis from SAP to Choloma typically cost around L200-L350 (roughly US$8-US$15) and take ~20-40 minutes depending on traffic; shared shuttles and private transfers are also available for similar or slightly higher prices.

Toncontín International Airport (TGU): Tegucigalpa’s Toncontín is much farther (several hours by road) and not a practical arrival point for Choloma unless combined with domestic connections. Overland travel from TGU to Choloma is lengthy; most international visitors use SAP for access to the Cortés region.
