How to Get to Cavallasca#
Cavallasca, just north of Como, is easiest to reach via Milan’s airports (Malpensa or Linate) with a rail connection through Milano Centrale to Como S. Giovanni. From Como a short local bus or taxi brings you to Cavallasca.
Milan Malpensa (MXP): Malpensa is the busiest international gateway for northern Lombardy. Take the Malpensa Express train to Milano Centrale (about €13, ~40 minutes) then a regional train from Milano Centrale to Como S. Giovanni (about €3-€6, ~40 minutes). From Como S. Giovanni a short taxi or local bus will take you to Cavallasca (10-20 minutes).
Milan Linate (LIN) / Orio al Serio (BGY): From Linate you can take a bus or taxi into Milano Centrale (bus ≈€1.50-€3, ~25-40 minutes) then the same rail route to Como. From Bergamo Orio al Serio airport buses or transfers to Milano and onward trains to Como are common; total travel times from Bergamo to Cavallasca are typically 1.5-2 hours depending on connections.
Train: The nearest main railway station is Como S. Giovanni (stazione di Como S. Giovanni).
