How to Get to Cascade
Cascade is a Mahé community reached from Seychelles International Airport via Victoria. The town is served by Mahé's public buses and by taxis; rental cars make the interior easier to explore.
Seychelles International Airport (SEZ): The island’s international airport on Mahé is the entry point for Cascade and other Mahé communities. Typical taxi transfer to inland/coastal Mahé locations is 20-40 minutes depending on destination; airport taxi fares are commonly in the 250-350 SCR range (≈US$18-25). Shared airport shuttles offer lower-cost transfers but can be slower.
(No other major airports on Mahé): For island-hopping use ferry services from Victoria or short domestic flights.
Train: There is no passenger rail service in Seychelles.
Bus: Buses operate across Mahé with Victoria as the main hub; local routes serve Cascade-area stops. Fares are modest (around 7-15 SCR) and buses are the most economical daytime option for reaching interior and coastal settlements.
