How to Get to Alampra

Alampra (Nicosia District) is reached by road from Larnaca or Paphos airports, with Larnaca the nearer international gateway. Cyprus has no trains; intercity and local buses plus taxis or car hire are how you get around.

By Air

Larnaca International Airport (LCA): Larnaca is one of the closest international airports for the Nicosia District. From Larnaca to Alampra expect a road transfer of roughly 40-70 minutes depending on traffic; options are taxis (approx. €40-70) or intercity buses to Nicosia where you transfer to local buses or a taxi.

Paphos International Airport (PFO): Paphos is further away on the west coast and will take longer by road to reach Alampra (often 1.5-2+ hours).

By Train & Bus

Train: Cyprus does not have an intercity passenger train network.

Bus: Intercity buses link Larnaca and other coastal cities with Nicosia (operated by Intercity Buses Ltd. and private carriers). From Nicosia you will need a local bus or taxi to reach Alampra; expect total travel times from the airport to be around 1-1.5 hours by bus plus the local transfer, and fares for intercity routes typically range in the single digits of euros.
