How to Get to South Horizons
South Horizons sits on Ap Lei Chau in Hong Kong's Southern District and is best reached by the South Island Line (MTR) or by local bus/minibus services. The area is residential with frequent public transport but fewer direct airport connections than central Kowloon or Hong Kong Island.
Hong Kong International Airport (HKG): Fly into HKG and take the Airport Express to Kowloon or Hong Kong stations (Kowloon Station ~24 minutes, HK$105; Hong Kong Station ~24 minutes, HK$115). From Kowloon, transfer to the MTR South Island Line at interchange stations or take a taxi for the last mile to South Horizons.
Cityflyer coaches and public buses also serve southern Kowloon and Island destinations; fares to the southern district are roughly HK$48-60 and take 45-70 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis from the airport provide direct access to South Horizons but are more expensive.
Train: South Horizons is served via the South Island Line at Lei Tung station (one of the closest stations to the estate). Travel time to Admiralty (via interchange) is roughly 20-30 minutes depending on transfers.
Bus / Minibus: There is an extensive local bus and minibus network connecting South Horizons to Aberdeen, Wong Chuk Hang and the rest of southern Hong Kong Island; buses are useful for short local trips and to reach places not directly served by the MTR.
