Södra Teatern is a historic theatre and entertainment venue on Södermalm in Stockholm, Sweden. Opened in 1859, it is one of the city’s oldest active theatres.
The building contains multiple performance spaces including a main auditorium and smaller stages, plus bars and event spaces. There is an open-air terrace that provides views across the city and is used for outdoor events and dining in warmer months.

How to Get to Södra Teatern
From central Stockholm, take the metro to Slussen (red or green lines) and walk approximately 8-10 minutes uphill toward Mosebacke Torg. Several buses stop nearby (lines 3 and 55). On foot from Gamla Stan the climb is 12-15 minutes and offers classic Södermalm streetscapes.
